    Great sound

Ford FG/2011/XT, Aerpro spacers, front&back, Kayhan Audio ICC replacement... Hardware: Throw away the screws in the mounting hard hardware kit, heads on them are awful/weak. Supplied wire is a little thin, but probably just OK for 45W. I used about 20cm of wire just as an extension to connect to the Ford wiring. Audio: Versus the stock Ford 25W speakers, sound was much crisper in all the audio range. Bass frequency was extended much lower and sounded cleaner. Bass was a little "thin" initially but after a week of "break-in" at low-medium volume it balanced out well and complimented the other two drivers nicely. Don't get me wrong though, a matching sub-woofer would be really a benefit in conjunction with these. Mids & highs were much crisper and "sweeter" and not harsh at all. Drums - kicks/hats were more pronounced without being overbearing or harsh. Electronic music is a winner here, but rock music still sounds really good on these. Soundstage is excellent (in the Ford FG) with the effect being wider than the stock Ford speakers. Positioning of instruments in the sound field seems more precise. These are not "pro-grade" speakers but for the money you pay for them they are hard to beat. As replacements for stock audio speakers they are well worth the effort/"expense" and you won't be disappointed (at least in a big car like the Ford FG).
