Shipping Policy

At Strathfield Car Radios, we strive to provide fast, reliable, and affordable shipping options for all orders. Please review our shipping policy details below:

Flat Rate Shipping

  • Standard Shipping: $9.95 flat rate for all orders via Australia Post eParcel.
  • Free Shipping Items: Some items are eligible for free shipping. However, if your cart includes both a free shipping item and a standard shipping item, the $9.95 flat rate will apply.

Express Shipping with StarTrack Express

  • Delivery Time: 1-3 business days for Metro areas only.
  • Costs: Calculated based on weight, ranging from $24.95 to $139.95.
  • Regional Areas: Shipping costs are the same as Metro, but delivery times may exceed 3 business days.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed before 11:00 AM are shipped the same day.
  • Orders placed after 11:00 AM will be dispatched the next business day.
  • If an item is not in stock, dispatch may take an additional 2-3 business days, depending on supplier availability. We will contact customers directly if delays are expected.

Stock Availability

  • The stock status shown on our website reflects both in-store stock and supplier availability. If you require immediate confirmation of stock, please contact us directly before placing your order.

Strathfield Car Radios Returns Policy

 

At Strathfield Car Radios, we value your satisfaction and aim to make the returns process clear and fair. The following conditions apply to all product returns unless specified otherwise on the product listing:

 

Conditions for Returns

 

  1. Requesting a Return:

    • All returns must be pre-approved. Submit a request via the Returns Authorisation Form or email us at online@strathfieldcarradios.com.au.
    • Requests for returns must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
  2. Product Condition:

    • Returned items must be in as-new condition, with no damage to the product or its packaging.
    • All original packaging, manuals, accessories, and documentation supplied by the manufacturer must be included. Missing items will incur a replacement charge deducted from the refund.
    • Returns with damaged packaging, missing barcodes, or removed manufacturer's labels may be rejected or incur a handling fee of up to 10%.
    • Products that have been used, trialled, installed, or demonstrated may also be rejected or subject to a handling fee of up to 10%, plus return shipping costs.
  3. Restocking Fees:

    • All returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the original sale price.
  4. Shipping Costs:

    • Return shipping and insurance costs are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated.
    • If a return is not accepted due to non-compliance with this policy, and the product is uninsured, the customer will bear the risk of loss or damage.
  5. Processing Returns:

    • Approved returns will be handled at Strathfield Car Radios' discretion through credit, replacement, or repair unless otherwise arranged in advance.

All products sold by Strathfield Car Radios are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise specified. The warranty period and terms vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

Warranty Claims Process

    • To start a warranty claim, contact us at online@strathfieldcarradios.com.au or visit your nearest Strathfield Car Radios store.
    • Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice, is required to process the claim.
  2. Inspection and Assessment:

    • Products will be inspected to verify the fault. If the issue falls under the manufacturer’s warranty terms, we will assist with repair, replacement, or refund as applicable.
    • If the issue is deemed outside the warranty terms (e.g., misuse, unauthorized modifications, or accidental damage), the warranty claim may be denied.
  3. Resolution Options:

    • Depending on the manufacturer’s policy, the product may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at no cost to you.

What Is Not Covered?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s functionality.
  • Issues caused by improper installation not conducted by Strathfield Car Radios or an authorized installer.

  • Any shipping costs associated with sending products for warranty assessment are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.

Strathfield Car Radios is an Authorised Retailer for all the brands we carry including Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Clarion, Alpine, JVC to name a few and have been for more than 20 years.

Authorised Australian Approved Products

At Strathfield Car Radios you will not find imported products from overseas, communally known as grey imports. All the products that we list on our site are sourced from Australian distributors and come with complete genuine Australian warranties.

All products purchased through Strathfield Car Radios come supplied with an official Australian manufacturer’s warranty. The terms of the individual warranty are supplied with the product normally on the manufacturer’s warranty card. The manufacturer’s warranty card will generally have details on the length of the warranty and means of obtaining warranty repairs.

We will happily price match with any local competitor’s website. Please send us an online enquiry to confirm that we can match with a particular offer.

Credit Card Transactions & Rules

Credit card transactions are processed through a secure credit card gateway, all payments are checked and risk assessed on case by case basis through this system.

Due to the high rate of Fraud to protect customers and ourselves we will require photo ID to be sent through for all credit card transactions over $850. Contact will be made with the purchaser before any items will be sent. Please note this is ONLY for transactions over $850.
